The pieces of Bethlehem Olive used in these wooden rings were sustainably harvested & imported from Israel; that is, this is not a similar species grown in California. Genuine Bethlehem Olivewood is distinct from other olive species in that the grain is extremely pronounced & dark in color, with beautiful, wavy patterns.

Like most fruitwoods, it is quite stout. This ring features a single 2 point diamond inlay.

The metal in this listing is Black Zirconium Zirconium that is heat treated until it attains a very hard, durable black coating. The naturally silver colored metal is placed in a kiln at very high temperatures until the extreme heat causes oxidization.

The oxidization layer is as hard as sapphire. Just for full disclosure - the ring really is a very dark grey.

I just don't want anyone to be disappointed. The ring pictured is a satin finish, but a polished finishes is also available.

The ring is also a domed profile (vs. a flat profile), which can also be changed.
