Beveled Black Zirconium Wood Ring Lined With Stabilized Ash Burl

I'm not normally one for stabilized wood, as they are typically way overpriced, & I have my own techniques for stabilization when it is necessary. This general aversion usually goes double for COLOR stabilized woods (gilding gold, painting the lily, etc.

This black ash burl, which has been vacuum stabilized with a blue acrylic, is absolutely gorgeous. It has a beautiful range of blue colors & a depth that is hard to capture in pictures.

It is also extremely easy to work with. I dub thee blue ash burl.

The metal in this listing is Black Zirconium Zirconium that is heat treated until it attains a very hard, durable black coating. The naturally silver colored metal is placed in a kiln at very high temperatures until the extreme heat causes oxidization.

The oxidization layer is as hard as sapphire. Just for full disclosure - the ring really is a very dark grey.

I just don't want anyone to be disappointed. The ring pictured is a satin finish, but a polished finish is also available.

The ring is also a beveled profile (vs. a flat or domed profile), which can also be changed.

This is the first Black Zirconium ring with a wood interior ever offered. You can choose any wood you like- just mention it in the notes section at checkout.

I highly recommend going to a jewelry counter to determine your size, even if you already know your size. Do it yourself ring sizing methods (string, etc.

) should absolutely not be trusted. Be sure to be measured using the width you plan to order.
