Amboyna Burl Wooden Ring Lined With Titanium

Amboyna burl, the wood in this wooden ring, is the burl of Narra, more commonly known as Padauk is, I say with no trace of hyperbole, among the rarest & most sought-after woods in the world. in fact, if you look up burl in wikipedia, Amboyna is singled out for mention as a rare burl.

Mixure of reds & orange hues, from deep dark red to orange flames. Unlike the other styles of rings in this shop, channel type rings will always have a seam in the wood.

It will be visible, but hard to detect 9 inches or so away, & completely invisible at any distance. I have made no effort to hide the seam in these pictures.

If you have difficulty finding it, it is because it is subtle. This ring is flanked by 6al-4v grade 5 titanium, preferred among jewelers.

Wood ring sizes run from 4 to 15. I highly recommend going to a jewelry counter to determine your size, even if you believe you already know your size.

Do it yourself ring sizing methods (string, etc. ) should absolutely not be trusted.

Be sure to be measured using the width you plan to order. Custom width requests are always welcome.
